What data do we collect in the KidsGroFo app?
In the KidsGroFo app, we collect some personal data from you.
When you register to use our services and create an account for them, we need your email address and a password to set up your account, as well as the country from which you are using the app.
Both the email address and the password are stored by us only in encrypted form and are therefore secure.
We cannot read out this information either.
Why do we store your data in the KidsGroFo app?
One benefit of the KidsGroFo app is the ability to share your children's data (age, gender, current measurement data) with friends and family.
In order for you to share this data of your children with other users of the app, this data must be stored centrally on KidsGroFo's server in Germany.
Protecting your data is taken VERY seriously at KidsGroFo!
We also store measurement data about your child only under a nickname.
Personal information about children (such as full name, photos, parents' names, etc.) is stored only in the app on your smartphone.
This also applies to this data of the children of other users of the app.
We at KidsGroFo or anyone else will NOT have access to this data!
What personal data do we collect in the KidsGroFo app? How do we process personal data at KidsGroFo and do we share this data?
Within the app, we use the children's personal data (photos, names, etc.) only to display them in an orderly fashion.
For example, you can determine the sort order in which the children are displayed in the overview. Also, the full name and photo of each child only serve to be able to assign them correctly.
Since we do NOT have access to your personal data and that of the children, as this is only on your smartphone, we can not share it.
You can delete your KidsGroFo account at any time.
If you no longer wish to use the KidsGroFo app, you can delete your KidsGroFo account by yourself. To do this, go to the settings (the small cogwheel in the top right-hand corner) and scroll down to the bottom of the settings.
In the settings you will find the "DELETE ACCOUNT" button. If you click on it, your KidsGroFo account will be deleted. You will be asked again beforehand whether you really want to delete your data.
If you confirm the deletion, all your information will be irretrievably removed.
If you only want to remove the KidsGroFo app from your smartphone, e.g. because you are using a newer phone, then it is sufficient to uninstall the app from the old smartphone. Only the children's data stored on the phone (photos, names) will then be deleted. The measurement data is still stored at KidsGroFo.
