KidsGroFo GmbH & Co. KG (hereinafter KidsGroFo) was founded in 2021 by Dipl. Kfm. Oliver Mathis. The company's business purpose is to develop and provide an app that calculates and graphically displays children's current and future clothing sizes. In addition, the app allows users to network with other users and share measurement data of children. KidsGroFo is the abbreviation for Kids Growth Forecast, which means growth prediction in children and reflects the function of the app.
Oliver Mathis is the managing sole shareholder of KidsGroFo and was employed as a tax consultant at PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Frankfurt/Düsseldorf until 2004. After that, he worked as an independent management consultant until the end of 2022, focusing on consulting and the development of individual software solutions for tax consulting companies and their clients. Mr. Mathis is married and father of a son and a daughter.
The KidsGroFo app was created for iOs and Android smartphones and was released for free in the respective app stores in late 2022 (iOs) and early 2023 (Android).
In the coming months/years, the number of networked users will be increased and more fea-tures will be added to the app, which will focus on collecting data on children's growth and sharing children's clothes between users.
The task of the app is also to provide users of the app with a purchase recommendation for the size of children's clothing and thus reduce the number of returns, especially for online purchases, in order to save costs and resources and thus also provide a service to society.
Potential customers and partners of KidsGroFo are companies in the textile industry that pro-duce or sell clothing for children as well as scientific institutions that evaluate data on children's growth.
